Bennett is 2-8 against Parkside since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Bennett Clippers will play host again and welcome the Parkside Rams, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
While Bennett couldn't quite beat Arcadia on Monday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 46-point loss they were dealt two weeks ago. Bennett fell just short of Arcadia by a score of 35-33.
Meanwhile, Parkside stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mardela 73-10 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Parkside who now have three in a row.
Zion Oge was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Diamond Dixon, who scored 14 points.
Bennett's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.0 points per game. As for Parkside, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.
Bennett was taken down by Parkside 67-19 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Oge, who scored 23 points. Now that Bennett knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
