The Jordan Warriors and the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Jordan Warriors had to settle for second. Jordan was dealt a 35-7 defeat at the hands of Fort Bend Hightower. Having soared to a lofty 52 points in the game before, Jordan couldn't push the score so high this time.
Colin Willetts threw for 111 yards and a touchdown. Andrew Marsh was his top target, picking up 70 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Jordan has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. As for Fort Bend Hightower, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Jordan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fort Bend Hightower will be playing at home against Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Heights is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
