That result was just more of the same for these two, as Metrolina Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Metrolina Christian Academy was led to victory by DeAngelo Walker and Josiah Rucks. Walker scored 11 points along with three steals, while Rucks scored 16 points along with five rebounds. The game was Walker's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brock Mumpower, who scored seven points.
When it comes to explaining why South Charlotte T lost, one person who can't be blamed is Luke Rullo. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. The contest was Rullo's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Luke Graves was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 11 rebounds.
Metrolina Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for South Charlotte T, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Metrolina Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Charlotte Latin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Charlotte T, they will head out on the road to face off against Greater Cabarrus S at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Greater Cabarrus S will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
