Alpena had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Deer Antlers on Tuesday as the Alpena Leopards made off with a 67-41 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Leopards have posted since October 25th.

Loss or not, Deer got some senior leadership from Mason Guinnip and Kaden Moore. Guinnip posted 12 points, while Moore had 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jesse Gunter, who put up five points.

Alpena's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Deer, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Alpena will host Ozark Catholic Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ozark Catholic Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Alpena surely won't give up without a fight. As for Deer, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-39 victory against Mount Judea on the 12th.
