Dalhart has gone 9-1 against Tulia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Dalhart will host Tulia at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dalhart took a 19-run defeat the last time they faced off against Bushland, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Dalhart had just enough and edged out Bushland 6-5 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Tulia waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 16-8 margin over the Bobcats. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Gustavo Trevino made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, David Molina was incredible, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Zach Trevino was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Tulia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .523. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Dalhart has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. Tulia's victory bumped their record up to 13-5-1.

Everything went Dalhart's way against Tulia in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Dalhart made off with a 21-9 win. Does Dalhart have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tulia turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
