St. Mary's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Sonora Wildcats by a score of 8-3. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Matea Muraoka, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Isabella Cazarez was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.

St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Sonora, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

St. Mary's will square off against West at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams are facing the Wolfpack at the right time seeing as the Wolfpack are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Sonora, they will take on Hilmar at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
