After a string of 13 wins, the Wendover Wildcats's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 79-71 to Rich. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Friday (65), Wendover still had to take the loss.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shawn Duboise, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Efren Delmuro, who scored 18 points.
Wendover's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-2. As for Rich, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wendover will take on Tabiona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rich, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Big Piney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
