Spring Grove fought the good fight in their extra-innings  match against Susquehannock  on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. That  stolen base was  Gobrecht's first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Konner Marshall, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Meanwhile, while Gettysburg put up some  runs on Wednesday, the same  can't be said for Central Dauphin East. The Warriors walked away with  a   5-0  victory over the Panthers. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.
 Spring Grove has  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-1 record  this season. As for Gettysburg, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
