Several Trailblazers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sam Couch, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Bradley, who scored nine points along with 13 rebounds.
Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Walton-Verona, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on HomeSchool Resource Center at 12:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024. Walton-Verona and Augusta will face off at 2:00 p.m. on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Augusta knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully Walton-Verona likes a good challenge.
