On Tuesday, the Norris Titans faced the Beatrice Orangemen in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Norris secured a 57-52 W over the Orangemen. The victory was nothing new for Norris as they're now sitting on six straight.
Grace Kohler continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Kennedy Sullivan was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Norris' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. As for Beatrice, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-2.
Norris will head out on the road to take on the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Lincoln Christian is ranked fifth, while the Titans are ranked sixth). As for Beatrice, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Warriors at 2:30 p.m.
