Hendrick Hudson can attribute much of their success to Kaitlyn Raguso, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Raguso has scored at least 25% of Hendrick Hudson's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Robinson, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Hendrick Hudson's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Monroe-Woodbury, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Hendrick Hudson will head out on the road to face off against Pelham Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monroe-Woodbury, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Middletown at 4:30 p.m.
