Bucyrus is 2-8 against Seneca East since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bucyrus Redmen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Seneca East Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Bucyrus focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Bucyrus was fully in charge, breezing past Vanlue 61-30 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-8.
Bucyrus got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Addison Kemery out in front who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Kemery has scored at least 25% of Bucyrus' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marissa Middleton, who scored 11 points.
Seneca East kicked off their season on the road last Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a hard 50-34 fall against Hopewell-Loudon.
Bucyrus now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Seneca East, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Bucyrus skirted past Seneca East 37-34 in their previous matchup back in February. Does Bucyrus have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seneca East turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
