The Frankenmuth Eagles stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Bridgeport at home to the tune of 72-36. Winning may never get old, but Frankenmuth sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
It was another big night for Carson Knoll, who scored 19 points along with five assists and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Sommerfield, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Frankenmuth's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Bridgeport, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.
Frankenmuth will head out on the road to face off against Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Glenn has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 270 points over their last four contests. As for Bridgeport, they will be playing at home against Birch Run at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
