Brennan Lindner Dazzles in Pleasanton Win
Pleasanton picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brennan Lindner. South Loup had no answer to Lindner as he threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also punched in a rushing score. Lindner also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making seven total tackles and defending a pass.
Pleasanton pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. They and West Holt will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Leyton Connell Delivers Best Performance of Season
Leyton Connell produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sandhills Valley to the win on Friday. Connell rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 113 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Sandhills Valley's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. Connell and Sandhills Valley will take on Arcadia/Loup City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jaysen Cronin Turns in Season-Best Performance
Jaysen Cronin produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pleasanton to the win on Friday. Cronin picked up 181 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 68 yards.
Pleasanton and West Holt will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Cronin up against the Huskies' star WR Andrew Rentschler. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.

South Loup Gets a Boost from Paulsen in 50-22 Defeat
Rounding off our Top Five is Conner Paulsen of South Loup. Paulsen rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.
On the season, Paulsen has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 28.5 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to ten.
