Basketball Recap: Tulare Union Triumphs

Lemoore came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Tulare Union, but Demaje Riley wouldn't allow it. The Tulare Union The Tribe put the hurt on the Lemoore Tigers with a sharp 58-36 win on Thursday thanks in part to Riley, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. What's more, he also racked up six steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Lemoore still got an impressive performance from Micah Fox, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Fox is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last five games he's played. Jasean Gardner was another key player, going 5 of 11 on his way to 11 points.

Tulare Union's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Lemoore, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-7.

Tulare Union will welcome Hanford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Tulare Union is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.4 points per game this season. As for Lemoore, they will venture away from home to face off against Mission Oak at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Mission Oak's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
