After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Cameron, Cumberland was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Amery Warriors out  7-6. For Cumberland, this counts as revenge for the   9-3 loss Amery walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2019.
  Kelsey Reidy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Reidy was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and a  run.
 Reidy wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Morgan Monchilovich, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Cumberland's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Amery, they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-16.
 Cumberland has the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Barron at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Amery does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
