The Frontier Cougars are taking a road trip to challenge the Bridgeport Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Frontier is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.
Frontier is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Marlington just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 48-34 bruising from the Dukes. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Frontier's loss came about despite a quality game from True King, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. King is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games he's played. Austyn Kole Kephart was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.
Even though they lost, Frontier smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Bridgeport didn't have too much trouble with Edison on Friday as they won 66-49.
Frontier better keep an eye on Jaleel Vincent. He was instrumental in Bridgeport's win, going 13 of 23 on his way to 36 points along with five assists and five boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Vincent has scored at least a third of Bridgeport's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaki Threet, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points and three steals.
Frontier's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2. As for Bridgeport, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Frontier has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.8 boards per game. However, it's not like Bridgeport struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Frontier barely slipped by Bridgeport in their previous meeting back in February, winning 33-32. Will Frontier repeat their success, or does Bridgeport have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
