Peoples Baptist Academy won the last time they faced Appling Christian Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Peoples Baptist Academy Knights walked away with a 36-23 victory over the Appling Christian Academy Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Despite the defeat, Appling Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Annaleigh Carter posted 13 points.

Peoples Baptist Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Appling Christian Academy, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Peoples Baptist Academy will host Byne Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Appling Christian Academy and Brunswick Christian Academy will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
