Mastbaum Vo-Tech has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Francisco Quiles, who scored 23 points. It was the first time this season that Quiles scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kwasi Hawkins, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, High School of the Future entered their tilt with the Knights with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. High School of the Future strolled past the Knights with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 73-58.
G Banks and A Jeune were among the main playmakers for High School of the Future as the former dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten assists and the latter scored 36 points along with seven assists and three steals. Banks is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season. N Reddy was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech pushed their record up to 12-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for High School of the Future, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech was able to grind out a solid victory over the in their previous meeting back in December of 2016, winning 56-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
