The Warriors walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights on Monday with plenty of help from Hernandez, who had 26 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.
St. Michael's was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-16, 25-15.
St. Michael's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Hill Country Christian School of Austin, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-6.
