The Northview Vikings will be playing at home against the Diamond Ranch Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northview will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
Northview put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They breezed by Los Altos at home to the tune of 48-13. With Northview ahead 41-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Among those leading the charge was Keanu Tauvao, who rushed for 128 yards on only 14 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Angel Barraza, who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Diamond Ranch had a rough season last year, but they look ready to turn that poor record around this year. They took a 34-20 bruising from San Dimas on Thursday.
Diamond Ranch's loss came about despite a quality game from Keanu Vasquez, who rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
Northview's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Diamond Ranch, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2.
