The Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters's five-game losing streak  dating back to last season came to an end  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   66-58  win over Sankofa Freedom Academy. That  66-58 margin sets a new team best for Abraham Lincoln this season.
 Abraham Lincoln's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Aldonis  Martin, who  scored 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Martin has scored at least 25% of Abraham Lincoln's points.  Samair  Peterson was another key contributor,  scoring 18 points.
 Abraham Lincoln's victory  ended a four-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 1-3. As for Sankofa Freedom Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
 Abraham Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Archbishop Carroll at 6:00  p.m.  on December 13th. Archbishop Carroll will be coming into the  match with an undefeated record on the line. Sankofa Freedom Academy will take on Hamilton in a holiday battle at 3:30  p.m.  on Saturday at.
