Malvern Prep was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to second in the league. The Friars vanquished Germantown Academy 24-7 earlier in the week.
Episcopal Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Churchmen feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Adam Strouss has thrown for 615 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Quinn Hager has 16 catches for 394 yards. Strouss also leads the league in rushing with 475 yards.
A big matchup in Inter-Academic this week will be when William Penn Charter takes on Malvern Prep. The Quakers are in third place, while Kevin Pellegrini's team is in second place.
Episcopal Academy was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting William Penn Charter. The Churchmen came in at 17 in the state poll after placing at number 34 last week.
