It's playoff time, and Palmetto Ridge had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Golden Gate Titans get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Monday. The Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Karsyn Walters was a standout: she got on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. With the win, Palmetto Ridge broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-11. As for Golden Gate, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Looking ahead, Palmetto Ridge will venture away from home to square off against Gulf Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sharks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. Golden Gate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
