Carter Bouknight gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Tuesday. Pelion had no answer to Bouknight as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Bouknight has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Bouknight's effort led Batesburg-Leesville over Pelion and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
