The Foley Lions's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Pine Forest Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Foley suffered their biggest defeat since December 20, 2023 on Friday. Their tough 58-38 defeat to Daphne might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Foley has suffered against Daphne since January 22, 2021.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kaden Adams, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Curtis Sanders was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two steals.
Pine Forest suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Monday. They fell just short of Choctawhatchee by a score of 57-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Foley's loss was their 13th straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-24. As for Pine Forest, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-10.
