Reese has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Caro, their loss was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 3-6.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Reese beat the Tigers by a score of  10-2 later that day.
