Broome Street Academy had a senior duo take command as Andre Wright dropped a triple-double on 27 points, 14 rebounds, and ten steals and Samuel Acevedo scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Acevedo is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Demitrius Gould was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Brooklyn College Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Broome Street Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.
Brooklyn College Academy ended up a good deal behind Broome Street Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2022, losing 79-63.
