The Horizon Hawks were the 51-23 winner over the Prairie View Thunderhawks when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Horizon took a 25-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Prairie View on Friday. Horizon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Horizon lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tidus Xiong. Despite the final result, he rushed for 106 yards.
Even if they lost, Horizon's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Prairie View's QB won't forget Tristen Salazar anytime soon given Salazar sacked him four times.
Leading Prairie View to victory were Quintin Winzent and Ryker Searle. Winzent picked up 71 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Searle picked up three receiving yards and a touchdown.
Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Prairie View, their win bumped their record up to 5-5.
Horizon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Prairie View also has no future games currently scheduled.
