The Josey Eagles extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Central Chargers. They walked away with  a   45-38  victory over the Chargers. Given Josey's advantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 19th, while Central is ranked 87th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Josey was led to victory by  KeAsia Henderson and  Kerri Fluellen.  Henderson  scored 18 points along with eight  assists and two  steals, while  Fluellen  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds and six  steals. Fluellen is crushing the  steal category: she's  posted at least three every time she's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Shaniya Sanders, who  scored six points along with 11  rebounds and two  steals.
 Josey has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 19 of their last 20 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 28-3 record  this season. As for Central, their loss  ended  an  eight-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 26-5.
 Josey will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Mount Paran Christian at 1:00  p.m.  on March 7th. Mount Paran Christian will roll in looking for their  14th straight  win, something Josey surely won't give up without a fight. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
