After flying high against Kingman  on Saturday, Odyssey Institute came back down to earth. The Minotaur fell  3-1 to the Parker Broncs on Monday. The Minotaur were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Broncs earlier this season, when they won  3-0.
 Odyssey Institute started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-19, 25-23,  25-23.
Their offense was headlined by  Isabella Mitchell and  Alex Coates, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from  Allyson Sauls and her 18 assists. Mitchell was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with six aces.
Odyssey Institute has  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-13 record  this season. As for Parker,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 15-14.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Odyssey Institute will  challenge  rival Tonopah Valley  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Parker is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Highland Prep  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
