Academy of Careers & Exploration dropped down to 4-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Hesperia Christian Patriots, falling 47-26. The Eagle were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

As for Hesperia Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won five games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hesperia Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Austin McWilliams, who rushed for 116 yards and two TDs on only ten carries. McWilliams' longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Jackson Lake did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 100 receiving yards.

As of now, neither Academy of Careers & Exploration nor Hesperia Christian have any future games scheduled.
