After losing to Babylon the last time they met, Center Moriches decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Red Devils narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Panthers  4-2.
 Center Moriches' victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  JT Bonventre, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run. That  home run was  Bonventre's first of the season.  Brayden Hromada was another,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  run.
Center Moriches' win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Babylon, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 7-1.
 Coming up, Center Moriches will face off against Southampton at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Babylon, they will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pierson at 4:30  p.m.  on May 7.
