The Pen Argyl Green Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They skirted past Northern Lehigh 47-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pen Argyl also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Pen Argyl got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chase Kennedy out in front who scored 16 points along with eight steals and five assists. Kennedy has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Soos, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Pen Argyl pushed their record up to 4-14 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Northern Lehigh, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Pen Argyl will look to defend their home court on Monday against Wilson Area at 6:45 p.m. As for Northern Lehigh, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Catasauqua at 6:45 p.m. on January 26th.
