Despite the defeat, Dayspring Academy got a solid performance out of John-Michael Martin, who scored 33 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Martin scored a full 67.3% of Dayspring Academy's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jordan Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Their wins bumped Mount Juliet Christian Academy to 4-1 and Foundation Christian Academy to 2-1.
