Softball Recap: Florence Has No Trouble Against Comfort

Florence won against Brady last Tuesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Everything went Florence's way against the Comfort Bobcats/Deer as Florence made off with a 17-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Buffaloes, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Aaley Ramirez was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Florence always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Comfort only posted an OBP of .424.

Florence pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Comfort, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

Florence will have a chance to go back-to-back against Comfort: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
