Cole has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Cole Cougars and the King Brahmas will round out the year against one another at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Cole scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 105-55 win over St. Anthony. Considering Cole has won six games by more than 25 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for James Livingston, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and ten assists. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Cole's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ajian Hasadinratana, who scored 20 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, King had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past Robstown, posting a 64-20 victory at home. That 64-20 margin sets a new team best for King this season.
Cole pushed their record up to 12-8 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for King, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
