Meanwhile, Ogallala strolled past Holdrege with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-14.
Caden Rezac was his usual excellent self, rushing for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.
Auburn's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Ogallala, their victory also bumped their record up to an identical 7-2.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Auburn has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 240.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Ogallala struggles in that department as they've been even better at 286 per game. It's looking like Friday's matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
