The Northwest Christian Wolverines will be home for the holidays to greet the Sound Christian Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Northwest Christian will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Wednesday, everything came up roses for Northwest Christian at home against Rainier Christian as the team secured a 66-29 win. The win was just what Northwest Christian needed coming off of a 83-59 defeat in their prior match.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwest Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dan Babber, who scored 19 points along with six assists. The contest was Babber's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Lanham, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Sound Christian aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Wednesday extended their overall winning streak to four. They walked away with a 66-53 win over Summit Classical Christian School.
Northwest Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sound Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Things could have been worse for Northwest Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-28 loss to Sound Christian when the teams last played back in January.
