After flying high against Hamilton last week, the Trenton Central Tornadoes came back down to earth. Trenton was just a bucket short of a victory on Tuesday and fell 65-64 to the Allentown Redbirds. If the Tornadoes were hoping to take revenge for the 66-54 defeat against Allentown when the teams met last January, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Trenton's record to 13-7. Allentown's win brought them up to 12-4.
Trenton will stay at home against Westampton Tech on Saturday. Trenton is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. As for Allentown, they will go up against Monroe Township on Saturday.
