The Intermountain Christian Lions had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 61-48 win over Utah Military Academy - Hill Field on Wednesday. The victory was just what Intermountain Christian needed coming off of a 94-33 loss in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Intermountain Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keaton Okino, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Hillaker, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Intermountain Christian's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13. As for Utah Military Academy - Hill Field, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10.
Intermountain Christian will take on American Prep WV at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. American Prep WV will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Intermountain Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Utah Military Academy - Hill Field, they will head out on the road to face off against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Utah (Utah Military Academy - Hill Field is ranked 136th, while Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams is ranked 128th).
