Pleasant Grove is 7-0 against Lehi since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pleasant Grove Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Lehi Pioneers at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Tuesday, Pleasant Grove came up short against Skyridge and fell 66-59.
Meanwhile, Lehi faced Lone Peak in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Lehi walked away with a 60-53 win over Lone Peak on Tuesday.
Pleasant Grove dropped their record down to 11-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lehi, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
Pleasant Grove took their win against Lehi in their previous matchup back in December of 2020 by a conclusive 69-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pleasant Grove since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
