There's no place like home for Independence, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Monday. They secured a 40-34 W over Freedom on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Independence, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Jordan Ratliff, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. He also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Grimes, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
Independence now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Freedom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
Independence and John Champe will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th at. As for Freedom, they will take on Cardozo at TBD on December 29th.
