The Century Centurions's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against Frankfort by a score of 54-46. For Century, this counts as revenge for the 65-28 loss the Redbirds walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Ashton Dillow was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Karleigh Jones, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Century is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. As for Frankfort, they dropped their record down to 4-26 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Century won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Redskins at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Shawnee comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Frankfort, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
