Carson Young turned in nothing short of a gem on Thursday, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over 5.2 innings pitched. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with six or more strikeouts. On the season, he has an ERA of 1.84 over 27.2 innings pitched.
