There's no place like home for the Carver Vo-Tech Bears, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past Benjamin Franklin 77-75. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Dorrian Sands continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Carver Vo-Tech's points. Another player making a difference was Kalial Colclough, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five steals.
Carver Vo-Tech pushed their record up to 9-3 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 42.27 points. As for Benjamin Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
Coincidentally, Carver Vo-Tech and Benjamin Franklin will both be playing Coppin Academy the next time they take the court. Carver Vo-Tech will host Coppin Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Benjamin Franklin will head out to face them on Thursday.
