In what's become a running theme this season, the East Thunderbirds gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They put the hurt on Thunder Basin with a sharp 59-35 win. The win was nothing new for East as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Several Bolts players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kambel Cox, who scored ten points along with three steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Rodgers, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
East is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Thunder Basin, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
East will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Laramie at 5:00 p.m. East is coming into the contest with nine straight victories at home, so Laramie is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Thunder Basin, they will head out on the road to square off against Natrona County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
