The CSTHEA Patriots will head out on the road to square off against the Knoxville A Ambassadors at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in CSTHEA's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matchups.
CSTHEA can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Rocket City as CSTHEA made off with a 77-52 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead CSTHEA to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Deschaine, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Deschaine has scored all season. Jonathan Swanson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.
Meanwhile, even though Washburn scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Knoxville A still came out on top. Knoxville A walked away with a 67-59 win over the Pirates. The win made it back-to-back wins for Knoxville A.
CSTHEA pushed their record up to 15-15 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Knoxville A, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.
Everything went CSTHEA's way against the Ambassadors in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the Patriots made off with a 96-75 win. Will CSTHEA repeat their success, or do the Ambassadors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
