The King Jaguars's and the Raby Raiders's matchup on Tuesday was close at halftime, but the King Jaguars turned on the heat in the second half with 41 points. King blew past Raby 72-50.
King's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amir Brown, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Demarco King, who scored 17 points.
Despite the loss, Raby still got an impressive performance from Jaylen Walker, who scored 21 points. Walker scored a full 42% of Raby's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Nick Rogers Jr. was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
King's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Raby, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
King will look to defend their home court on Thursday against DuSable at 5:00 p.m. Raby is on the road again on Saturday and play against Kaneland at 4:30 p.m. on December 2nd.
