HEARTS for Jesus Christ was led to victory by Maria Cottenden and Alex Zelenka. Cottenden dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, while Zelenka dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Zelenka has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played.
When it comes to explaining why Christian Community lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sarah Solak. Despite the final result, she scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Solak continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

HEARTS for Jesus Christ will look to defend their home court on Friday against Temple Christian at 6:00 p.m. As for Christian Community, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
